10 May 2018, Lubbock, TX – The Reese Technology Center is pleased to announce that it’s Executive Director, Murvat Musa, has been chosen 2017 Public Servant of the Year by the High Plains Chapter of the American Society for Public Administrators (ASPA).
The Public Servant Award is presented to an individual who demonstrates a commitment to excellence in the performance of their official responsibilities, displays exemplary leadership within their organization, and consistently goes above and beyond their duties to benefit the region and community as a whole.
Ms. Musa was chosen to receive this award due to her extensive collaboration with local governments and regional agencies in the High Plains for local and regional economic development. ASPA High Plains Chapter will honor her at this year’s Texas Tech University, Master of Public Administration Graduate Banquet on May 16, 2018.
